Amber Hofman, a successful recruiter, is on the lookout for an attractive partner, someone to share her life with. Alongside her colleague Dusty, she ventures into the nightlife of Rotterdam and meets Dolf, who identifies with the philosophical insights of 'The Discovery of Heaven' by Harry Mulisch, seeing it as his life's mission.
Through social media, Amber gets in touch with Frederico, a handsome divine dandy, and they arrange to meet at the Witte Aap on a Sunday afternoon. Securing a follow-up appointment with Frederico proves challenging, given his ownership of a business and his international operations.
