EN - Simplicity. Perhaps no other word in the dictionary more fittingly encapsulates the work of interior architect Remy Meijers (1974). The various elements that make up each of his interiors are so perfectly placed that it is as though each design followed a law of nature and could not have been otherwise. But there's a lot more going on than meets the eye. Behind the apparent simplicity of Meijers' designs lies a coherent and comprehensive vision honed continuously over two decades. Meijers' oeuvre includes not only interiors, but also architecture, accessories and furniture. According to Meijers' philosophy, these are not separate elements, but rather complementary parts of an intelligible whole.

Uitgangspunt in zijn werk is een totaalvisie waarin alle elementen perfect op elkaar zijn afgestemd. Deze aanpak leidt tot interieurs die in al hun eenvoud een aangename rust uitstralen. Een goed voorbeeld van zijn werk is het prestigieuze 5-sterren hotel The Dylan in Amsterdam. Maar ook de landgoederen, herenhuizen, villa's, vakantiewoningen, bedrijfs- en expositieruimtes van zijn hand weerspiegelen zijn visie op interieurarchitectuur optimaal.
